From temporary worker to team leader in Weert. Paul de Haas made that journey at a rapid pace. He and CSE seemed to be an excellent duo, with a long shared future ahead. Until another company tempted him to make a switch…
“They made me a fantastic offer, especially in terms of salary,” says Paul, who is now back as a team leader in Weert. “I couldn’t refuse it. What turned out after I started there? They didn’t live up to it at all. After being strung along for a few months, I had enough: I started looking for another job.”
‘It was meant to be’
“In the meantime, I was still in touch with former CSE colleagues. Including Anne from HR. We agreed to have a coffee together to catch up. And guess what? During the conversation with Anne, the then team leader called. He said he wanted to quit. It was meant to be. We immediately took action and made arrangements. Shortly after, training days were scheduled so I could start again quickly.”
“Everyone does their best for each other”
Positive Changes
“In the short time I was away, quite a few things changed. But all for the better. We have a beautiful new warehouse in Weert, and the lines of communication between team leader and office are even shorter. Other things remain the same, though. For example, the camaraderie: all CSE employees form a close-knit team. Everyone does their utmost for each other, and everything runs smoothly.”
Artificial Turf
“As a team leader in Weert, I have renewed enjoyment in my work. Especially the variety of colleagues and drivers who come to the desk makes it great. I am truly a people person. Will I stay where I am for now? Absolutely. I’ve learned my lesson. If the grass seems greener somewhere else, it’s artificial turf. I’m not done here yet!”
