“Plenty of Room for Talent and Development”

When Anne van Haaren started her career at CSE, she was just 25 years old. She was still studying part-time but already had the opportunity to shape and professionalize the HR department. Now, she is an HR officer and gives others ample space to grow.

“When I started here, I was still quite by-the-book: I worked mainly according to the manuals,” Anne explains. “But that quickly changed. The start of your career is a bit like getting your driver’s license. You only really learn how things go in practice. The beauty of working at CSE is that this is possible. There is plenty of room for talent and development, even through learning-work trajectories.”

Young Organization
“That fits perfectly with CSE because we are still a relatively young organization and bursting with ambition. As a result, we are always on the move. We love progressive ideas and actually implement them, even if not everything is fully detailed. This way of working is fun and challenging, and most importantly, educational. Incidentally, it’s not just young colleagues who get the chance to grow, but all employees.”

“Your career gets a flashy start”

Driven by Intrinsic Motivation
“I encourage everyone to develop themselves, but of course, I consider the situation. Does someone have the space for it: at work and at home? Should other skills or prerequisites take priority? And what is the underlying thought? I don’t believe you should pursue education just to learn something. It’s about the right intrinsic motivation. And there must be a plan that fits a position or future perspective.”

Spark for Young Professionals
“For young professionals, this is a really great company to start working life. CSE’s world is super dynamic, and we just take on challenges. You learn a lot from that. Hard work is definitely part of it, but it only gives me energy. Especially since everyone gets to work every day with the same drive. All of this creates a spark, giving your career a flying start. I can vouch for that!”
