When you enter the headquarters of Cargo Service Europe, you can hardly miss it: the rotating trophy that accompanies the title Entrepreneur of the Year. Owner Martijn Vos won the award last year at the Business Gala Oss. He gets to keep the honorary title, of course, but the trophy will soon be moving.
On Saturday, May 25th, during the 2024 Business Gala, we’ll find out who Martijn’s successor is. This happens on home ground: in the new warehouse of CSE Sorting. “It’s very special to pass on the entrepreneur’s trophy right here. The title is a great recognition for our entire team, so we would have liked to keep the prize. But that’s not allowed. However, I can say: come and get it, haha!”

‘A pioneer who goes big’
Who will take home the prestigious entrepreneur award this year will be announced by gala presenter Xander de Buisonjé from our brand-new sorting machine. Does Martijn have a preference? “I certainly do. I prefer to pass the trophy on to a pioneer who goes big. It’s not about a long history or a million-dollar turnover, but rather about courage and self-belief. As an entrepreneur, you need to be convinced of your ideas.”
Great weekend
In the run-up to the Business Gala, Martijn was asked if he wanted to help with the organization. “It won’t be a CSE party, but a party at CSE,” emphasizes Martijn. The next day, however, there will be our own party: then we’re organizing our family day. What a great weekend!”
